Temple Beth Am Kesher/Connection Award Nomination Form for 2022-2023
I. Purpose of the Kesher/Connection Award & Relationship to Temple Beth Am’s Mission
The Kesher/Connection Award is a new award established by the Board in March 2021 to recognize the efforts toward and/or impact on advancing Beth Am’s mission of people who are relatively new to the Beth Am community. Each year going forward we will honor a volunteer or group of volunteers who have been part of the community for less than five years.
Temple Beth Am’s mission is to “deepen relationships to Judaism and our community by engaging the soul, heart, and mind.” By recognizing individuals who have gone above and beyond to advance this mission, we hope to deepen the relationships of many volunteers to our community and to each other as they draw inspiration and express appreciation through the nominations process. We also hope to deepen the community’s relationship to Judaism as this award focuses the community’s expression of one of Judaism’s core values—gratitude.
II. Award Criteria
The Lowen-Kaplan and Kesher/Connection Awards Committee will use the following criteria in selecting the 2021 recipient of the Kesher/Connection Award:
