Registration, Guidelines, and Standards

Registering at Temple Beth Am's Religious School not only provides your children with an outstanding education - it also introduces them to an inclusive community of lifelong learners. We strive to cultivate literate and ethical Jews, according to the values of Reform Judaism.

Religious School Registration

Registration for 2019-2020 Religious School at Temple Beth Am is open.

Registrations received after June 2, 2019 will be charged a $100 late fee per child (with the exception of new families).

If you are NOT a member, please email Director of Community Engagement Alexis Kort, who can help you get started in the process. If you ARE a member, please click this link to sign up your child for Religious School.

All new students will be assigned to classes by our rabbis according to their age and corresponding school grade.

Once we receive these forms, you will be contacted within a month to have a confidential conversation regarding your financial needs. At Temple Beth Am, we strongly believe in providing equal access to our educational programs. Our temple accepts applications from all Jewish families, regardless of income level.

We also want to assure you that these forms remain confidential. We take your trust seriously and hope that you will share with us whatever we need to know to make your child’s year the best it can be. Guidelines and Standards

Temple Beth Am Religious School strives to create an environment and a community which cares about each individual student. It is especially important that Temple Beth Am be a place where everyone feels safe, where each individual is respected, and where the temple and its grounds are treated with respect. Temple Beth Am has a full emergency plan, and we employ professional security guards who patrol the campus during Religious School.

We are in the process of rewriting our Guidelines and Standards for the upcoming 2019-2020 Religious School year. Check back here for its posting.
